Minutes of the Governing Board Meeting of the Association held on 26-02-2014 at Central Phoenix Club, Ambala Cantt: -

1. In the Absence of President Mr. Ramesh Nagpal, Meeting was chaired by IPP Mr. Amarjeet Singh.
2. Report on Trade Fair GLOBAL LAB EXPO-2014 given by Amarjeet Singh, Project Director. He informed that we shall try to organize this in collaboration with MSME. A vendor development Exhibition shall be organized at Karnal on 8^th & 9^th March & members must participate/visit this show.
3. Report on ASIMA Website given by Mr. Amarjeet Singh (IPP). He informed that website is operational now. Members list is available at website & opportunity shall be provided to members to link their website on a payment of Rs. 500/- along with dues of next year.
4. Report on General Dinner meeting held on 10-02-2014 in association with ICICI Bank given by Mr. Subhash Bansal, Project Director, and expenses of approx. Rs. 68250/- & Rs. 58400/- sponsored by ICICI Bank approved. Mr. Bansal informed the house that in the Absence of President Mr. Ramesh Nagpal, Meeting was chaired by IPP Mr. Amarjeet Singh.

1. Furthur matter of back drop banner was raised by Mr. Rajneesh Goomer & mutually decided that in future Back drop shall be of ASIMA only & name of sponsorer shall be mentioned.
2. It was also decided that President/ Secretary must inform members regarding latest developments.

1. Discussed on General Dinner meeting with Transcend consulting (India) Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai on a Seminar on Finance Planning will be held on 22-3-14 at M.M.Continental, Mullana and Mr. Rajneesh Goomer appointed as the Project Director for the same.
2. Discussed on increment of the salary of Office Secretary and it was decided to increase salary by Rs. 500/- w.e.f. 1^st April, 2014.
3. Discussed on International Conference of Optics & Optoelectronics will be held at IRDE, Dehradun from 5^th March 2014 to 8^th March 2014 and it was decided to visit on 6^th March. Interested members may contact Mr. Amarjeet Singh. Association will provide a subsidy of 50% on TA & DA.
4. Discussed on pending Annual Dues of few members and it was decided to issue letter of suspension to members who are not interested to continue.
5. In any other matter, it was suggested by few members to organize one open house meeting totally Non Sponsored at least once in a year.
